The Hillcrest Museum in Souris, Manitoba was formed in 1967 when a group of local citizens purchased the former home of Fred and Maud Sowden to establish a museum that would preserve and exhibit the rich history of the development of the community. They then formed the Souris Hillcrest Community Corporation Inc. as a registered charity to operate the museum. If you are interested in volunteering your time to help out, email hillcrestmuseum@gmail.com to let us know about your interest.
Hillcrest Museum is grateful for the donations and support of the community nearby and at large. To support the museum with its ongoing projects and operating costs, donations can be made out to Hillcrest Museum and mailed to P.O. Box 1287 Souris, MB R0K2C0. Local residents can also make donations through Donors Choice.
